Mining Vinyl Records is in what I would call "semi-retirement." Due to the lack of releases in the past year, tracks will no longer be available for download at our main outlet Beatport after the end of 2008. A partial catalog should remain available on iTunes and other outlets though. Due to my lack of "underground gigs" and hearing any new music that seems particularly new to my ears, I've lost most of my motivation to spend time in the studio writing or remixing. If anyone wants any of the back catalog, feel free to contact me and I can probably hook you up via Soulseek, email, or other streaming/delivery options. You can still check out the Mining Vinyl Records MySpace page to listen to some of the label's tracks and find links to other label artists' music pages (although that page has been fairly neglected as well). I may try adding an audio page to listen to and download our catalog tracks here. Occasionally I get club or party gigs of note, and I will continue to post them on the site time to time. Though most of my gigs are private parties or on the commercial tip now, I'm still up for playing Underground House and Techno if anyone is interested in booking me for that kind of event. I still get plenty of promos and demos in that area and I enjoy getting to play some Progressive, Electro, or Tech House when I get the chance. - Thanks, Stroud
